Anne Paynter
Anne Paynter is the current Business Agent of IATSE Local 411. Anne has over 25 years in the Motion Picture and Television industry, working as a Production Manages and Coordinator with credits as an Assistant Director and Producer. Prior to joining Loca 411, Anne was an integral part of many Ontario productions and has a strong sense of the Ontario Film and Television industry. Anne strives to better the working conditions and representation of all persons in production as well as to organize previously unrepresented groups and negoatiate contracts for new and existing members. Anne has a firm commitment to the inclusion of sustainability and diversity in the Motion Picture and Television Industry.
IATSE Local 411 has represented Production Coordinators in the Motion Picture and Television industry since 1988 and Craft Service providers since 2003. Local 411 is an affiliate of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees, which represents over 148,000 members employed in motion pictures, leggitimate theatre and trade shows across North America. Local 411 works in tandem with all the other Unions, Guilds and Associations in the Toronto Area and has jurisdiction for its members across the province of Ontario.
Anne graduated from Western University with a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology. Anne was an active member of the Sorority Kappa Aplha Theta which is accredited with the empowerment and integration of women across many academic institutions. Anne also has entrepreneurial expereince in the health and wellness industry, with a strong commitment to healthy living and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.
